Using My Experience to Help Teachers
Sharing music with the world.
I am on a mission to share music with the world and one way is to help teachers. You may think that my passion for my piano business is just my way of making a living, but it has always been so much more than that to me. I have seen so many blessings in my life and in the lives of others from the music I teach and share with my students and their families. I have seen firsthand the power of music to replace timidity with confidence in students of all ages. I have watched how music has brought worshipping congregations together and how it has brought life and joy to gloomy nursing homes. Not only do I want to help bring this gift to students and their families, but I also hope that I can provide them with the means to pass it along to others too.
As I have taught my students, I have been able to introduce some of them how to teach a child to play piano as well. In some cases, these students of my students were from my own studio’s waiting list, and other times they were family members or friends they had found elsewhere. Learning how to become a piano teacher is not as difficult as it may sound.
And with my help, teachers can learn quickly! All pianists will recall their first few awkward lessons fumbling over the keys and playing simple scales and songs consisting of very few repeating notes. Teaching these things to a student is not difficult for any intermediate or advanced pianists. The hard part is knowing what material to provide to the student and how to do so.
Become a piano teacher
If you want to become a piano teacher, my curriculum couldn’t make it any easier. My years and years of teaching have solved the hard part of the teaching equation. In my piano teaching course that I offer online, I will walk you through how to teach piano to beginners. The skills I help you learn how to teach through my 8-video course include playing with both hands,
playing with chords, and reading music from day one with your students. Help me in my mission to share music with the world, and let me teach you how to teach piano.
