Welcome to the How To Teach Piano Course

How do you become a great piano teacher?

Is just knowing a little about music enough to jump in with both feet and start teaching? How do you know where to start? What do you need to know before you take on your first student?

This course is a basic beginning course that teaches how to teach piano in a way that breaks down the process into bite-sized pieces that will allow your students to make rapid progress from the get-go. With this process, you and your students won’t get too bogged down with things that are too technical. You’ll learn how to teach concepts as they are needed and not all the skills all at once.

This course goes through my approach to piano that has been refined over the last 30 years of teaching piano.

This one-time purchase will make a full return on your investment the first month you begin teaching, even if it’s just one student.

you know what?

There is a better way to teach piano!

When I was 13-years-old, I was approached by a mother of three who wanted to know if I could teach her kids how to play piano. I was flattered by this request, but I had no idea how to teach piano or where to start. Her persistence brought me to my first taste of teaching piano.

I started teaching the way I had been taught, using the children’s books that had been provided to me. They were cute but I was generally unimpressed by the music and methods they offered. I began experimenting with other methods. I found bits and pieces of each that I liked but all lacked a well-rounded approach.

Today, I have taught more than 2,000 children and adults how to play using my own method that I have developed over 30+ years. I began teaching my students how to teach with my method 20 years ago and now, I am bringing this method to you online. This course will help students become piano teachers!

I’ve always played piano at church but didn’t know how to teach it until I watched this.  This is awesome, thanks Coralie.

Your actual lessons filled in lots of Ah-ha’s.  Loved the explanations before and after video lessons the most.  It’s good stuff.
Kelly
I’m currently a piano teacher.  Wish I’d had someone with experience teaching me like this. I’ve learned a lot and will use more from this intro in my lessons.
