Any Competent Pianist Can Teach Using My Method
I’ve really been doing this all along. For decades now, I have been teaching my students how to teach piano lessons to beginner students of their own. My student-teachers have found great life experience teaching piano students of their own as well as the necessary income to afford college, vacations, and more. The one student I want to tell you about is actually my youngest son, Chad. Chad was a good student who, by the age of 11, had what it took to teach piano.
International Travel, Anyone?
Chad had an opportunity to be a short-term foreign exchange student in Japan when he was 15 years old. I was paying for normal life expenses, a daughter’s wedding, and more when he heard about the opportunity. The shock I felt when he offered to pay for the trip himself threw me. I knew that he was making good money, and that he wasn’t blowing it all on nonsense, but I didn’t realize the thousands of dollars that were sitting in his bank account.
He Made How Much?
This information is semi-confidential, but I think it’s necessary to share just for illustration purposes. At that time, Chad had about 28 piano students of his own. Using my method, Chad taught each of those students once a week for half an hour. Chad charged just $10 per lesson, and his work weeks were only 14 hours long. None of his peers had jobs at this point in his life, and they certainly weren’t making $20/hour. Let’s do the math:

Having saved most of his money, Chad was able to finance his trip to Japan. Chad had a great experience with his host family, at the local school, exploring the region, and even going to Tokyo Disney.
